The appropriate beginner's pick set!

Primarily, we are here to exchange knowledge and arrange lock picking competitions, providing tools is not our main interest. Due to countless requests we compiled the following offer, especially for the beginners of the sport.
This offer is for interested newbies who haven't joint our club SSDeV, yet.

Standard Pick-Set

This pick set includes 10 picks, 4 wrenches and a broken key extractor. All picks are made of high quality clock spring steel and are supplied with a top grain calf leather case. The ideal sport's set for the advanced beginner!

"Handbuch zur Schlossöffnung"

Extended German version of the "MIT - Guide to Lock Picking". This valuable introduction by "Ted the Tool" is the standard for the novice picking athlete. It explains the principles behind pin and disc tumbler locks.
58 pages with various illustrations manifold stapled with coloured paperback cover.

"Schloß und Schlüssel"

This "Lock and Key" manual explains the basic security features of locks, keys and fittings. In over 130 pages with many illustrations the author - our member of honour Heinz Pickshaus - explains and discusses advantages and disadvantages of common constructions. The ideal introduction for beginners and a valuable description of the fundamentals for the lock picking expert. - German language version! -

Euro practice single-cylinder

We also add a standard hardware store cylinder. These poorly manufactured locks are ideal for your first steps into a larger world!

Super Mica Shim Sheets

On top of that we include 2 of these high tech material 20x13cm extra thin 250μm new plastic door shims. They work like the old credit card trick in the movies - with the only exception that they really work!

400series grain emery paper

On the recommendation of our members, we also added a small piece of 400series grain sand paper to every shipment. This is for chamfering your picks (but not their working faces!) and results in a better touch and thus enhanced opening capabilities.

Shipment information

1. We are a registered sports club and not an online warehouse. Please understand that we accept payment in advance only (no Paypal or credit/debit cards)!
2. We only take orders from minors, if the value of the tools ordered does not exceed the value of his/her monthly pocket money. Shipment to Germany only!
3. We primarily ship by registered mail with return receipt or else by certified mail via HERMES or DHL delivery service.
4. Please transfer the total amount to: SSDeV ; Account-No 35 79 6 79 01; Deutsche Bank 24 ; bank code: 200 700 24 [IBAN/SWIFT].
5. Always include either "PXP60" or "PXP45" and "<Your Fon No.>" (with international code) or your membership number in the payee's note.
6. Email our service-center and use "<Your Fon No.>" as subject of your email.

7. Include your shipping address in the email.

8. In case you want an itemized bill with VAT listed - please also include this in your email.

9. Of course, you can fax us as well at +4940-4808511. If demanded, we will send an order confirmation via fax.

10. In the exceptional case of not being able to allot your payment, we will simply call you up to get things sorted.
11. In general, shipment takes about a week once we received your payment. International customers please allow some extra time!

12. In all other cases – please contact your local locks & tools store!

Terms of delivery

Entry tools are speciality equipment. We do not take used equipment back. In accordance with the Distance Selling Act (FernabsatzG) we will refund unopened factory packaged pick sets up to 14 days after delivery.

In case of duly and legitimate claims we serve our warranty deeds by sending a replacement of our choice or by compensating the depreciation in value. Customers are not entitled to cancel the contract or to take redhibitory action. The contract is subject to change. We reserve the right to partly or fully reject incoming orders.

Warranty will only be extended for qualified use of deficient/ faulty tools. Only tools with an obvious material defect will be replaced / compensated for. Crooked tools are explicitly excluded!

All Euro prices include VAT. Bills only on explicit request! The sports equipment may only be used according to the ROE stated above.

Anfänger Pick-Set

This 9pc pick set includes picks and wrenches made of high quality clock spring steel and is supplied with a top grain calf leather case (mad-cow proof!). Only the standard tools have got reinforced handles. The other picks can be fitted with plastic sleeves.

Shipment also includes the two books and the Euro practice cylinder!
